Whether working within a team or solo, Paige strives to push the boundaries of storytelling and loves to rework traditional tropes to make them more inclusive and exciting. Weaving stories together within fantasy and horror tabletop role-playing game systems is a passion of mine but exploring new genres is a welcomed challenge. Paige Ford is an army-brat who spent the latter half of her childhood in Northern Virginia. After graduating high school, she moved to Chicago to pursue a B.A. in Film & TV at Columbia College. Paige remained in Chicago afterwards and began working within the local film & TV community. While working on a TV show, she was introduced to fifth-edition Dungeons & Dragons. After a single session, Paige decided to go to a TTRPG convention, Gary Con in Lake Geneva, WI, and fell head-over-heels for tabletop role-playing games.
From there, she frequently played, became a game master, and soon began writing for various systems. In 2019, she started the ‘Being Kind Is A Free Action’ initiative and collaborated with others in designing and selling ‘Being Kind Is A Free Action’ products to raise money for The Trevor Project.
Now, Paige lives in the Los Angeles area with her partner and feisty chihuahua-mix, Humphrey, where she continues to work as a freelance TTRPG writer and as a freelancer in film & TV.
